History

2019 – We are proud to announce the sale of two of our communities in 2019: The Brighton Apartments (424 in Dallas, TX) and Vieux Coulee Apartments (264 units in Fort Worth, TX). We successfully replaced them with two new assets to add to our growing portfolio: The Club at Stonegate (360 units) and The Landing at Centreport
(318 units) and both are located in Fort Worth, TX!
2019 – Sold Brighton Apartments and Vieux Coulee Apartments. Acquired The Club at Stonegate and The Landing at Centreport. Our Ft Worth community, The Club at Fossil Creek, won Community of the Year award through the Apartment Association of
Tarrant County’s Lone Star Awards.
What a year! 2019 was the year of team building and morale (and some sales). We have spent the better part of the year investing in our team members to build a community within their offices and to ensure our teams are excited to call Busboom Group their home for a very long time.
Our teams participated in many team building activities, but the highlight was our event at Group Dynamix. At this event, our teams had to come together to improve relationships and encourage collaboration. Some of the activities were designed for individuals to break out of the shells and other activities were focused on a certain level of competitiveness. Both of which we know can drive a team to success. Our teams walked away with a new take on how to make their personalities work well
with others, to listen to understand, and work through obstacles with one goal in
mind. If we work together, we all succeed.

2017 – Acquired The District at Cypress Waters (814 apartment homes in Coppell)
2017 – Sold 2250 Marsh and Cottages at Bedford
2016 – Acquired The Club at Riverchase (360 units in Coppell)
2016 – Acquired The Club at Fossil Creek (424 units in Fort Worth)
2016 – Sold Courts of McCallum and McCallum Glen
2015 – Acquired Equinox on the Park (338 units in Garland)
2015 – Acquired 2250 Marsh (150 units in Carrollton)
2015 – Acquired Cottages at Bedford (168 units)
2014 – Acquired The Brighton (410 units acquired in Dallas)
2014 – Acquired Highlands Creek (150 units in Dallas) and Vieux Coulee (264 units in Fort Worth)
2013 – Acquired Courts of McCallum and McCallum Glen (419 units and our first acquisitions in Dallas)
2013 -Busboom Group closed its first two deals in Dallas, TX – 419 units by the University of Texas – Dallas. Almost 1,500 units will be under ownership and management by the end of 2014.
2008 -Busboom Group went ‘paperless’ using electronic signatures and using a Cloud Based management system to manage all operations, email, document storage, and website integration.
2005 -Jason and Thao started Busboom Group in the unused maintenance shop of a 17 unit building in Denver, CO.
2004 -Jason and Thao worked together at AIMCO – an S&P 500 multi-family REIT located in Denver, CO.
